Contracted to BAA Plc to design, build and deliver an application to support and manage a multi-million pound, UK wide, network infrastructure upgrade programme. Developed in Asp.Net and SQL Server 2000, the system provides Workflow, Asset Management, Progress Reporting, Dynamic Cable Diagram Creation, Document Management and MIS. Responsibilities include project management, database schema design, business and process analysis, performance & functionality testing, customer liaison, support and code development.
Fujitsu Services - Basingstoke May 2005 - Jan 2006
Contracted to Fujitsu Services as part of the development team providing technical solutions for the Ministry of Defence. Was involved with technology including Microsoft Live Communications Server 2005 and Real-Time Communications Client which provides session based real-time messaging using SIP (Session Initiation Protocol). Have also worked with Microsoft Identity Integration Server including Microsoft Active Directory. I was Security Cleared for this role and due to the nature of work can not detail my specific tasks.
BAA Plc – Heathrow December 2003 - March 2005
With BAA Plc for 27 months in total and I progressed into a Senior Developer role within Data Services Team. This role involved design and business analysis work to support the continued development of SCOUT; a web-based I.T. asset management tool. SCOUT includes an Active Directory interface that synchronises live user information using an ADSI/LDAP interface. This offers real-time user information directly from the AD at BAA. I provide support and enhancements to other web-based applications I have developed for BAA, including my Document Management System, which was scaled up to run across airports throughout the country.
Jamar Communications Limited December 2003 - March 2005
Conceived, designed, developed and currently support’s a remote equipment Asset Management System for use within the fork truck industry. The system receives encoded packets of data from remote units using GPRS telecommunications; which are processed into real-time asset usage and fault prevention information. I am responsible for the full implementation of this system including all design documentation, database schema design, development and performance testing. The system offers; multi-user and multi-company access, multi language support, graphical reporting, auto servicing reminders and full online help and support information.
C & C Technology – EDS August 2004 -September 2004
During this short role I was responsible for identifying business processes within the Oracle e-Business suite. After ratifying these processes with the customer I was then required to create test scripts for each process using QA load for the Oracle forms interface and Extreme Test for the web interface. The final 2 weeks were spent at the HP European Performance Centre in Germany conducting various load tests against a simulated HPUX target environment. The tests were performed against a large multi server/tiered system which contained over 450,000 users.
As part of this role I was Security Cleared to work on MoD sites.
Ishida Qualitech January 2002 - December 2002
Employed for one year at Ishida Qualitech to develop a COM based Customer Relationship Manager application using Visual Basic 6, Active Server Pages and MS SQL Server. I was responsible for the complete project including the functional requirements, design, project management, data modelling and code production.

I was responsible for all Internet related business CrystalNet dealt with. This included the various tasks involved in web site project management from the quotation & specification stage, to implementation and support, incorporating project financial control, managing subcontract employees and web development. I part owned CrystalNet; a company that I help create and is still successfully trading.
Phoenix First Software June 1999 - February 2000
I trained as a Software Programmer at Phoenix First. Phoenix First produces software for educational management, which is used in schools across the United Kingdom. The software was developed using a 3rd generation language called Omnis. At Phoenix First my primary role was data migration. While at Phoenix First I became familiar with Structured Query Language and programming techniques.

F. W. Murphy February 1997 - June 1999
I joined F. W. Murphy as a Test Technician and progressed to the position of Project Engineer. I supervised all testing of engineered products and customer returns. I also prepared electrical and mechanical drawings using CAD packages.

D.T.E.O. Boscombe Down September 1992 - February 1997
I completed a four-year M.o.D. Apprenticeship in Avionics at D.T.E.O. (Department Test Evaluation Organisation) Boscombe Down. After completion I was employed as a Senior Craftsman in the AMRAAM Department.
As part of this role I was Positively Vetted to work for the MoD
